Worum geht es in Bubuki Buranki?
Als Azuma Akira nach zehn Jahren zum ersten Mal wieder nach Japan zurückgekehrt wird er direkt von bewaffneten Männern angegriffen und gefangen genommen. Doch seine Kindheitsfreundin Ougon Asabuki rettete ihn mit der Hilfe von den Bubuki, die zu ihrer rechten Hand geworden sind. Diese Bubuki sind lebendige Waffen, die über Generationen hinweg vererbt werden. In der Öffentlichkeit sind sie jedoch unsichtbar, da sie Menschenmassen scheuen und ungewünschte Aufmerksamkeit vermeiden wollen.
