Worum geht es in Like a Dragon: Yakuza?
Die Geschichte spielt im fiktiven Stadtbezirk Kamurochō und entfaltet sich auf zwei Zeitebenen: 1995 und 2005. Im Jahr 1995 wollen vier Freunde aus einem Kinderheim ihrem beengten Leben entfliehen und landen in der Welt der Yakuza. 2005 hingegen ist ihre Freundschaft zerbrochen und die Spannungen zwischen dem Tojo-Clan und der Omi-Allianz, zwei Yakuza-Organisationen, haben den Siedepunkt erreicht.
