Worum geht es in Reformation?
Martin Luther macht sich mit seinen 95 Thesen gegen den Ablasshandel mächtige Feinde. Die Kirche schlägt zurück und exkommuniziert den Wortführer Luthers. Als dieser seine Thesen aber nicht einmal vor dem Kaiser widerruft, ist die Reformation nicht mehr aufzuhalten. Allerdings ringt Luther bald mit seinen Gefährten Thomas Müntzer, Andreas Bodenstein, Lukas Cranach d.Ä. sowie Katharina von Bora und Ottilie Müntzer um den rechten Weg. Thomas Müntzer will eine gerechtere Welt auch gegen die Landesfürsten durchsetzen, während Luther jede Gewalt ablehnt...
