Worum geht es in Phantom Below?
Bei einer Tauchfahrt nahe der nordkoreanischen Küste wird ein atomgetriebenes U-Boot der US-Streitkräfte ums Haar von einem perfekt getarnten, freundlichen Unterseeboot unbekannter Herkunft versenkt. Weil kein Beweis für die Existenz des Phantom-U-Bootes vorliegt, schiebt die Navy-Generalität Schäden und Todesfälle dem amtierenden Captain Habley in die Schuhe, läßt den umstrittenen Offizier aber trotzdem eine zweite Mission in dasselbe Gebiet leiten. Diesmal jedoch sind interne Aufpasser mit an Bord.
