サマーキャンプにいた７人は何も知らずにいた。 それが誰も知らない世界への冒険のはじまりになることを……。 洪水。干ばつ。真夏にふる雪……。 世界中がおかしかったその年の夏。 サマーキャンプに来ていた太一たち７人の少年少女は、日本では見えるはずのないオーロラから飛来した謎の機械の力によって異世界デジタルワールドに吸い込まれてしまう。 謎と危険に満ちたその世界で彼らを待っていたのは、なぜか太一たちの名前を知る奇妙な生物、デジタルモンスターだった。
