De charismatische Linda Napolitano zegt in 1989 te zijn ontvoerd door aliens, op een wel heel bekende plek. Ze ligt in bed, en wordt vervolgens door de lucht naar de ufo geroetsjt; midden in Manhattan, New York. Er zijn 23 getuigen, allerlei zogenaamde bewijzen en er is één skepticus: filmmaker Carol, de ex-vrouw van ufoloog Budd. Een duister, bij vlagen boeiend verhaal over de (psychologische) nasleep van Linda’s bovenaardse ontvoering, waarin de makers proberen te ontrafelen: was dit nou een koortsdroom of niet?
