Sobre o que é Vandread?
Em Vandread, Taraaku é o nome do planeta onde vivem apenas homens. Mejeiru, por outro lado, é um planeta em que vivem apenas mulheres. Os homens de Taraaku são inimigos mortais das mulheres de Mejeiru, e ambos os planetas permanecem em constante estado de guerra. Hibiki Tokai é um cidadão de classe baixa em Taraaku, que sonha em pilotar um Bangata, nome que dá aos mechas Vanguard. Por ser um sub-cidadão, Hibiki nunca poderá realizar seu sonho, uma vez que os pilotos dos Bangatas sempre se originam da elite de Taraaku. Após alguns eventos, digamos, um tanto estranhos, Hibiki acaba embarcando involuntariamente numa missão especial do planeta Taraaku, para destruir as mulheres de uma vez por todas. Esta missão acaba sendo um fracasso, e grande parte dos homens acaba em poder das mulheres...

Combined, the fleet of ships continues to destroy ship after ship of the harvest fleet. But the Main Mothership is another story, and even the combined Super Vandread is no match for it. With Hibiki captured by the leader of the Earth Harvest fleet, and the Dreads similarly restrained, all looks lost. But as the leader of the Harvest may find, it will take a lot more than a few wounds and losses to keep Hibiki and his friends down. With one last strike, Earth intends to end all resistance...and it may take the combined might of everyone with the will to live to stop the Harvest fleet once and for all.
